
Tesla India Takes on Lease 8,200 Sq Ft Commercial Space in Delhi's Aerocity

Tesla India has rented 8,200 sq ft in Aerocity’s Worldmark 3 for a starting rent of ₹17.22 lakh/month on a 9-year lease, with a 15% rent hike every 36 months.
The company recently opened its first India store in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, selling the China-made Model Y at around ₹60 lakh.
Tesla also leased 33,000+ sq ft in Orchid Business Park, Gurugram, for a service centre and sales outlet, at ₹40 lakh/month rent with 4.75% annual escalation and a 3-year lock-in.
Both leases were registered in late July 2025, reflecting Tesla’s accelerated India entry strategy.
Electric vehicle giant Tesla, which is expanding its presence in India, has rented 8,200 sq ft of commercial space in Delhi's Aerocity for a starting rent of ₹17.22 lakh per month, according to CRE Matrix.
Real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix, which has reviewed the registration document of leasing transactions, said that Tesla India Motor & Energy Pvt Ltd has taken on lease 8,200 sq ft area at Worldmark 3 project in Aerocity from Oak Infrastructure Pvt Ltd.
