Top comment by Dan B Liked by 5 people Sport packages and seating/ride is fine for those who want it. My issue is that years ago (late 80's when it really began) the auto magazine (who are totally sport leaning) became too powerful and were able to convince too many that we all need highly bolstered seating and firmer rides. It's gotten so bad, that even the likes of Cadillac and Buick now have seats that are way too firm, cramped and with the push for all vehicles having a huge center console, we no longer have room for our legs. Instead we are forced to drive/ride with hard seats and our legs pushed into a tunnel. So how about this? Offer vehicles with a flatter and softer seat and no console as standard. Then let those who prefer firmer seats and a huge console that takes up more than 1/3 of the front to order their "Sport" models.
