Instead of focusing on Tesla’s declining sales when he spoke with investors that day, Musk shifted attention to autonomy and artificial intelligence, hyping Tesla’s recent robotaxi ventures in Austin as well as progress on the company’s Optimus humanoid robotics program.
An Optimus robot, also known as a Tesla Bot, offers popcorn Tuesday to customers at the Tesla Diner in West Hollywood. CEO Elon Musk has hinted the concept may be coming to Texas.

The robots, which Tesla hopes to one day mass produce and sell to work in homes and factories, can be spotted serving popcorn at the Tesla Diner, Musk said.
