
NASA's Crew-10 Astronauts To Depart From ISS Today After Five Months; Watch Live

The four astronauts of NASA's Crew-10 mission will leave the International Space Station (ISS) on August 7 for a journey back to Earth. The SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule named Endurance is set to undock from the ISS at 9:35 p.m. IST. The astronauts are expected to splash down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California 24 hours later, on August 8, at 9:28 p.m. IST. However, their departure can be postponed if weather turns unfavourable at the splashdown site.

After a break, the broadcast will continue on Friday at 8:15 p.m. IST to cover the reentry and splashdown.
Crew-10 launched on March 14, aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket and arrived at the ISS two days later. The team includes NASA astronauts Anne McClain, who serves as commander, and Nichole Ayers (the pilot) along with mission specialists Takuya Onishi from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) and Kirill Peskov from Roscosmos. They have spent over five months conducting research aboard the orbiting lab.
Their replacements, the four astronauts of the Crew-11 mission, arrived at the ISS on August 2. The Crew-10 astronauts are currently in the process of handing over the research to their successors before departing.
