Reuters is partnering with the London Stock Exchange Group to provide artificial intelligence-generated earnings summaries.
Reuters said it will cover an additional 10,000 companies globally over the next three years.
All content is reviewed by a Reuters journalist for accuracy, relevance and adherence to the Thomson Reuters Trust Principles, with clear disclosures for readers to explain where and how AI has been used.
The summaries will start with companies in the United States and Canada, and will include:
A headline and overview that delivers a fast take on the quarter;
A forward-looking outlook capturing guidance;
Result drivers that explain what moved the numbers;
Key details that present metrics in table format;
Analyst coverage that summarizes ratings and targets.
“Super Summaries put AI on the front line of earnings coverage – delivering fast, scalable synthesis backed by Reuters editorial rigor,” said Jonathan Leff, global editor, newsroom AI and financial news strategy, Reuters, in a statement. “For LSEG customers, that means trusted information delivered at unparalleled scale, with transparency built in.”
