Dara, meanwhile, lived in the Philippines for a decade and quickly gained popularity after joining the ABS-CBN talent show “Star Circle Quest” in 2004. She went on to star in movies and television series and released a self-titled album. Dara returned to South Korea in 2007 but continues to visit the Philippines regularly.
