When Fresno Lexus relocated to its new home less than a mile from its former location near Palm and Herndon avenues , it left a void in one of the largest clusters of auto dealerships in the Fresno area. The large number of Teslas now populating the former Fresno Lexus lot at 777 W. Palmdon Dr. may signal a future expansion for the next door Tesla showroom that opened just over a year ago in the former Fresno Inifiniti location. Tesla representatives remain mum on the status of the possible site. Fresno Lexus moved to its new location at 7201 N. Palm Ave. in March 2025, doing so primarily with a focus on expansion. General Manager of Fresno Lexus Mike Gibson said the new site nearly doubles the space for vehicle service and inventory space. The vacant Fresno Lexus dealership’s 30,000-square-foot building falls comfortably within the average size for Tesla showrooms in a number of similarly sized markets both in California and across the country.
