April 9, 2026, 10:32 a.m. ET A naked man wielding a gun was taken down by police officers following his screaming rampage through a Bay Area Tesla repair shop. The Berkeley Police Department said officers responded to the Tesla service center located at 901 Gilman street after getting numerous 911 calls about the suspect running through the street carrying something in his hand and smashing windows. While enroute officers were notified that he had stormed into a Tesla repair shop while carrying a shotgun. Berkeley police responded to a Tesla service center after calls of a man running through the street smashing windows. Christopher Sadowski Police then set up a perimeter at the service center and were ready for the man who eventually busted out of the building screaming and carrying the gun while not wearing a stitch of clothing, KRON 4 reported. Berkeley PD said they called for him to stop but the naked man continued to charge towards the police officers.
