The Boys season 5, episode 8 randomly introduces an entirely new character called Günter Van Ellis. He’s the richest man in the world. He has 17 children. He’s an amateur astronaut. And he wears a black Homelander hat that is a spitting image of the MAGA one Elon Musk has worn in the past. And since The Boys takes a crowbar to subtlety, the Musk stand-in tells Homelander he’s worries about white fertility rates. But even the sociopathic supe doesn’t have time for Günter. He whisks him away to space where he dies offscreen. The whole bit lasts less than a minute. The Boys did Elon Musk dirty. Homelander flew Elon into space and left him there.
