Cybertruck Touches Down in South Korea – Certification Sparks Global Tesla Buzz!
The first images of Tesla’s highly anticipated non-Foundation Cybertruck have leaked online, revealing a more streamlined version without the premium upgrades. The all-electric truck's basic design is now stirring excitement and debate across the EV community.
First Images of Non-Foundation Cybertruck Surface Online
The first pictures of the regular Tesla Cybertruck—not the Foundation Series—have made it online. According to Teslarati, a member of the Cybertruck Foundation Series posted the images on the social media site X.
On Thursday night, Tesla began inviting customers to place orders for the regular Cybertruck, which is not part of the Foundation Series. From October to November of 2024, the invitations suggested, delivery of the regular Cybertruck will begin. So, people in the EV community have been speculating that the first pictures of a Cybertruck that isn't part of the Foundation Series will be posted online soon.
Leaked Images Spark Speculation
Surprisingly, the first images of the regular Cybertruck won't be published for quite some time. The initial images of what seemed to be a typical Cybertruck were uploaded on social media site X by Friday morning.
A member of the Tesla community and owner of the Cybertruck Foundation Series, @greggertruck, shared the images online and noted several modifications made to the regular model of the all-electric pickup truck.
Cybertruck Without Foundation Series Features
Not only did the regular Cybertruck lack any accessories, but it was also lacking the "Foundation Series" badging. Not even bed rings are included with the car. While bringing the price down was understandable, several Tesla owners couldn't help but notice that the regular, non-Foundation Series Cybertruck appeared significantly more understated than the original version of the electric pickup truck.
Price Breakdown of Foundation Series Package
In addition to the Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast's base prices, the Foundation Series package adds $20,000 to the total. This package comprises the following items: FSD, priced at $7,000 for early reservation holders; Cyber Wheels and Covers, priced at $3,500; and White Interior Color, priced at $2,000. A $2,500 Tesla Shop gift and lifelong Premium Connectivity were additional features of the Foundation Series Cybertruck.
Accessories Exclusive to Foundation Series
3D All-Weather Interior Liners, Gear Locker Dividers, a Glass Roof Sunshade, D-Rings, L-Track Hooks, an L-Track Bottle Opener, a Center Console Tray, Powershare Home Backup capability, a Powershare Mobile Connector, and an Off-Road Light Bar for the Cyberbeast are some of the other free accessories that came with the Foundation Series package.
