WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Florida Highway Patrol troopers rescued a dog tied to a pole ahead of Hurricane Milton. The dog was found on I-75 near Bruce B Downs Blvd Wednesday morning. (RELATED: Tornado crosses I-75 as Hurricane Milton closes in on Florida)
A video posted to FHP Tampa on X shows a trooper walking from an FHP vehicle towards the dog tied to a pole while standing in water.
