According to a report from Tesla North, Tesla’s Cybertruck is now set to reach Canadian customers, with some early buyers confirming delivery dates for November 2023.
Kitchener, Ontario resident Steven Point shared on social media that his all-wheel-drive Cybertruck, part of the Foundation Series and priced at $166,000 CAD, will arrive on November 7 after a minor transport delay. Point noted he’s paying $167 per month for insurance on the vehicle through TD Meloche Monnex.
Another customer in Montreal reported that their Cybertruck delivery is scheduled for November 4. These early deliveries appear to be prioritizing reservation holders, some of whom placed their orders right after the Cybertruck’s 2021 unveiling.
Canada is now the second market after Mexico to receive the futuristic electric truck, with current prices starting at $137,990 CAD for the all-wheel-drive model and an eye-popping $165,990 CAD for the dual motor, which boasts a 512 km range, 4.3-second 0-100 kph acceleration, and 600 horsepower. The higher-end CyberBeast model includes a tri-motor setup, delivering an estimated 484 km range and a top speed of 209 kph.
Tesla recently started selling regular AWD Cybertruck models in the U.S. (ending Foundation Series), which included a price drop down to $79,990 US, the same starting price as its Model X SUV. In Canada, the Model X starts at $110,990 CAD, so if Tesla follows the same pricing scheme we may have a clue as to what regular Cybertrucks will cost in Canada.
