Not officially.
But there’s immense interest in Donald Trump’s youngest son, and people gravitate toward social networks for a glimpse into his personal life.
Sometimes, that glimpse comes from another social media account: After his "proud mom" Melania Trump tweeted a viral photo of her very tall 18-year-old son voting on Election Day 2024, search engine queries like “how tall is Barron Trump?” spiked the morning after. Though the photo of Barron Trump does not show his face, it is on the official X account (formerly known as Twitter) of Melania Trump, and it's a view of him from the back with very long legs.
Ahead of her namesake memoir’s publication in October 2024, Melania Trump shared “official” photos of her only child on X when talking about motherhood.
The only child of Donald and Melania Trump turned 18 on March 20, 2024, and as a minor throughout his father's public life in television, business and politics, Barron Trump has largely been kept out of the spotlight and media headlines. That included having official social media accounts with the “blue checkmark,” the symbol that signifies celebrity, official or, in some cases, paid status.
That differs from the Trump family.
Everyone in the Trump family is in the public eye because of:
Donald Trump’s celebrity status — the billionaire hosted “The Apprentice” and “Celebrity Apprentice” in the 2000s before becoming president of the United States in 2016.
Donald Trump’s legal troubles — examples include the Stormy Daniels’ hush-money case, his impeachments or his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
Donald Trump’s third and successful bid for the White House as the Republican challenger against Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 U.S. presidential election As Barron Trump college choice looms, here's where his family graduated (and who didn't)
From former president Donald Trump to his third wife (and Barron Trump’s mother) Melania Trump, to his adult children and their significant others — Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump — each has a presence on various social media platforms.
There is no official Barron Trump account on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, Discord or YouTube.
X, however, is a different story.
Though Barron Trump does not actively post on social media sites snippets of his life, opinions or photos, that did not stop former first lady Melania Trump from sharing precious moments about motherhood and more on her social networks. On X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Melania Trump has tweeted several photos of Barron Trump as a little boy, often tagging him @barrontrump.
Different tweets from over the years give a rare look at:
Melania Trump, former fashion model who would often appear on “The Apprentice” and “Celebrity Apprentice” with Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump
Melania Trump, the proud mom and best-selling author
Melania Trump, wife of a billionaire reality TV star and future first lady of the U.S. (2017-2021)
Many of Melania Trump’s tweets about Barron Trump show a boy playing in the sand at the beach, playing golf at one of his father’s famous golf courses, or simply hanging out with his family. From about 2012 to 2015, Melania Trump tagged the X account @barrontrump. However, that account on X follows only one account (hers) and has more than 24,800 followers as of Nov. 11, 2024. But there is no profile photo, no cover photo, no tweets and no bio — only the social handle and the date “@barrontrump” joined the social media platform (August 2012, when he was 6 years old).
Here are some tweets from Melania Trump that feature and/or tag her son, Barron Trump, as of Nov. 11, 2024:
