CNN: SpaceX pulls off daring Chopsticks booster catch, but Starship craft did not survive flight

(KWTX) - A spokesperson for SpaceX confirmed to CNN that the Starship spacecraft was lost during their seventh test launch on Wednesday.
“We can confirm that we did lose the ship,” SpaceX engineer Kate Tice told CNN.
CNN reports SpaceX spokesperson Dan Huot said that the although the ship was lost, there was a lot of things to learn from the flight.
“We obviously need to go through all the data. It’s going to take some time,” Huot told CNN. “In the next hours, days — we’re going to figure out exactly what happened, come back, fly the next one, get farther.”
On X, the official SpaceX account said that Starship “experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly during its ascent burn.”
