For the second time this week, a Falcon 9 rocket is set to carry Starlink satellites into orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base.
The window for the two-stage rocket’s liftoff will target 6:07 a.m. Friday at Space Launch Complex-4 on South Base, with backup opportunities until 9:29 a.m., SpaceX officials said.
If needed, additional launch opportunities are also available starting 6:08 a.m. Saturday.
Notices warning boaters and pilots of the looming launch listed the opportunity as 5:54 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. Typically the planned launch time occurs toward the middle of the launch opportunity.

Orbital mechanics and the planned placement of the satellites in space lead mission managers to determine a rocket’s liftoff times.
After finishing its portion of the mission, the first-stage booster will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which will be stationed in the Pacific Ocean.
The mission is set to occur three days after another Falcon mission to deliver 27 Starlink satellites in space Tuesday from Vandenberg.
A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff and can be watched at https://www.spacex.com/launches and on X @SpaceX.
