U.S. Oil & Gas Association (USOGA) president Tim Stewart recently purchased a Tesla Model 3 to advocate cooperation between oil and gas and the electric vehicle industry. Stewart views the purchase as symbolic of intersecting energy sectors and a response to protests criticizing Elon Musk’s association with President Donald Trump.
