The DC fast charging units can be availed at Rs 24 per kW whereas the AC charging stations will come at a cost of Rs 11 per kW. This will mark the first of eight planned Supercharging stations in India, forming part of Tesla’s larger infrastructure initiative to support and expand long-distance EV travel across the country. It can add up to 267 km of range in just 15 minutes on a Supercharger, sufficient for five round trips between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and the Gateway of India. Not just in Mumbai, but Tesla will establish a similar charging setup in Delhi as well, following the launch of the country’s second Tesla showroom in the national capital soon. ALSO READ
