August 8, 2025 at 5:56 AM PDT A Tesla charger station opened on July 21 in West Hollywood equipped with an 80-stall supercharge station, a retro-futuristic American food diner, and a drive-in movie theater — all of it owned by Elon Musk. According to Tesla, the classic American diner and drive-in experience is “all wrapped up into one. With retro-futuristic design influences, this location offers Tesla and non-Tesla drivers alike with charging access along the historic Route 66 highway.” Despite all the futurist concepts, the two-story restaurant known as Tesla Diner, offers a typical menu of burgers, hot dogs and apple pie.
