Elon Musk and The Boys creator Eric Kripke are going at it on social media after the series finale of the superhero satire featured a parody version of the billionaire.
The Boys’ last-ever episode dropped earlier this week, and it introduced a character referred to as The Disruptor — a tech mogul and the world’s richest man who has an affinity for space and wears an all-black baseball cap. Sounds a little familiar, right?

The joke was evidently lost on Musk, who took to his platform, X, to agree with a user who slammed The Boys’ series finale for being unable to “produce a decent superhero parody”.
Offering his two cents (of which the billionaire has plenty), Musk frankly assessed the finale with a simple, “Pathetic”.
That reaction, according to Kripke, was the highest form of praise.
“OMG this is [Musk’s] review of what [The Boys] did to Homelander, I’ll never get a better review ever,” Kripke wrote.
