Chris Martin knows how to make a quick recovery.
The Coldplay frontman, 47, fell through a trapdoor in the stage while performing during the final Melbourne, Australia date of the band's Music of the Spheres tour on Sunday, November 3. Martin was taking a moment to read some of the fan signs in the audience as he stepped backwards, slipping into a hole in the stage.
He was shouting out a fan sign that read, "Please sing 'Everglow' for my dad in heaven," just prior to his fall, which saw many in the sold-out Marvel Stadium gasp and cry, "Whoa!" Thankfully, there was a production guy beneath the stage who was able to help lessen the impact of the fall, while also helping him up.
