| UPDATED: Tesla has provided housing, accommodation, transport and meals to employees affected by the disaster.
Megapack chargers have also been rolled out across the region with a Mobile Powerwall Unit also installed.
Tesla added: “3 Cybertrucks are now located at Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in Altadena (+ bed filled with water & snacks). 2 in Pasadena. 3 in Zuma Beach & Malibu.”
The Tesla Cybertruck is one of the brand’s most significant new entries with the model pitched as the perfect off-roader. An electronically adaptive air suspension is installed alongside shatter-resistant glass and a stainless steel exoskeleton bodywork.
The car has a towing capacity of 4,990kg with an estimated range of 340 miles. The Cybertruck also packs a punch and can reach 0-670mph in just 2.6 seconds.
The Cybertruck costs between $74,000 (£60,784) and $94,000 (£77,213) in the USA.
Musk added: “We’re doing everything we can to help the people of LA during this challenging time. Once the fires are contained and connectivity is restored, we’ll shift focus back to deliveries.”
